Hi

Hoping someone with access to Hampshire Baptism records can help. I'm trying to pin down the birth/baptism of one James Lewis born about 1880 in Landport, Hampshire. Parents are James Frederick Lewis (Engineer, Royal Navy) and Mary Lewis nee Hamlin. There is some suggestion that James may have had a middle names of Archibald but uncertain about this.

If anyone is able to confirm a birth/baptism date I would be most grateful.

Hi Dermot

This is the only James LEWIS born in 1880 in the appropriate registration district, you will need to buy the birth certificate to confirm his parents.
