After three days marching in the pouring rain and gale force winds the lads have made it to the Ferry at Dover. They should now be on the last leg of their journey through Flanders Fields to Ypres...

There is still time to Sponsor Scrimnet and the Great War Society .. and thanks to all who have already done so...

Nothing on TV so far as I know but there may be a piece in the local Kent Messenger paper. They are supposed to be sailing back today. I don't envy them a boat trip in this weather!

Scrimmers has returned!!

Soaking wet kit, blisters (our boots never had a chance to dry out!!) and a stress fracture...But all worth it to raise money and then at the end, to march through the Menin Gate in full WW1 Northamptons kit...I took off my RAMC for the last bit into Ypres...
