Does anyone know if there are descendants of Herbert Laban (b Newcastle 1899) and Alice Emily GRAVES in Newcastle? To my knowledge their children were Ronald Laban, Lillian May, Roy Herbert and Ann Christine.

Looking at freebmd Herbert married 'down south' (Woolwich) children were born in Berkshire. :) I won't give details as they could still be living.

Many thanks for your reply, Rosie. I agree with you about the first three of their four children being born in Berkshire but can find no trace of where Ann Christine was born. Do you know anything different?

Was asking mum who James graves 1833 of walmer Kent's father and mother is but she cant find the page any idea?

If you put in 'Search' Graves, James b. circa 1833 you will see the correspondence I have had about him.

Hello Michael, how nice to hear from you. Do you live in the UK? I do.
I am in fact a descendant of Alfred's (the eldest son of James and Dorothy)but am in touch with someone who is a descendant of Herbert Laban's (a younger brother).
Also, in the past I was in touch with someone whose grandmother is Ann Christine (in Australia) but somehow we have lost touch which is a pity.
If you do three normal postings we can then communicate through a personal message.

The person who's Ann's grand daughter is my sisters daughter,who lives in Queensland Australia.
Ann,my sister,my bother and their families all live in Queensland.

I should of said she is one of my sisters daughters as there is a few of them.
I was back in England in 2005 and spent 1 month traveling England visiting relatives i had not seen since i was a child or had not met before.
I do have a reasonable amount of family info but whether it's what you want i don't know.

To VDP, if still looking: Herbert Laban was the eighth of 11 siblings, the first three born in Woolwich & Plumstead, Kent, the rest in Newcastle. Herbert and Alice and their children then all moved back south, to Bracknell, so it's unlikely there will be any descendents of his in Newcastle, but it is highly likely there will be descendants of his brothers and sisters - other children of William Adolphus Graves and Ann Selina Whybrow - recorded there.
My connection is through Ronald Laban Graves.

I am the son of Lilian May (passed in 2021) and Edward Roberts (passed 25/12/94) born bracknell 1949 there is some info posted on https://www.facebook.com/groups/336577219803489 a local group Roy and Rose lived on Hayling Island (4 kids) for many years Ron was in Manchester in the seventies and Ann is in Queensland Australia
