Could anyone tell me name of cemetery in this area and if there is any available link to transcriptions. Thank you

Try googling
old merthyr tydfil and it should bring up something like www.alangeorge.co.uk,sorry dont know how to attachlinks here. If you enter into the site it has a church/chapel link and on page 2 there are some Catholic listings.Hope you find this useful.

Hi Scatty, thank you for this information. Have taken a look at the site you gave and it does have lots of information. Have emailed alan george to enquire about cemeteries in the area - they do not seem to be listed.
It is a wonderful site, which I will enjoy browsing.
Kind regards, Frances

Hello Frances :)
Catholic Churches in the Merthyr area are included on this Genuki page:

Hello Morgan, thanks for the link. Have now discovered there are no cemeteries attached to Catholic Churches in Wales. Burials are usually in municipal cemeteries. Think I am now hopefully "getting nearer" to a result (hopefully) in my quest.
A link for anyone on the same trail is www.caerphilly.gov.uk On this site go to Bereavement Services on home page, the site also has a list of cemeteries.
regards frances . :)

Still hunting for "living" relations though.
