Title: look up Thomas GILL b1855 Totnes Devon *COMPLETED* *THANKYOU*

Hello can anyone help me find Thomas Gill on the 1871 and/ or 1911 census'? he was born 1855 in Totnes Devon, father was richard gill mother ellen gill (formally Boon). He crops up on other census' for example in 1881 goes off to london to join the police. Just wondered where /what he was doing between 1861-1881 which would fill in some other gaps i have.....

any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you!! I think this may be what i was looking for, this part of the family seems to go back and forth from london and devon so its hard to find them on some searches.

I've had a look again at the image and amended my post to read Indoor not L?don - must get these specs changed!! ;D
