Title: ferndale boys school

i havea copy of my fathers admission register to Blaenllechau infants in 1912..along with many others .... it states he transferred to Ferndale Boys aged 8 years in july 1917,,,,, does anyone know where this school was located? there are 33 names on this register,,, very interesting reading!!!

Hi Angel, the boys school was on the Strand Ferndale, it was knocked down about 15 years ago and now there is an infants school in it's place

thanks bethan,,i guess they will still have school records kept somewhere,,, will investigate further

Try Treorchy library they have a lot of different records over there
