I wonder can someone please translate the address "TY SHON HOWELL" where an ancestor named Howell resided on the 1841 census.

Ty translates to house
Shon  is a version of Sion,  the Welsh for John
Howell  a surname
So it could be
Shon Howell's house or John Howell's House

Thanks for that; I thought it might be that but as I am not welsh speaking I wanted to be sure.
