Title: Translation please
Post by: hencarrai on Tuesday 18 September 12 17:51 BST (UK)
Would someone please check and complete my attempt at translating the attached plaque please.
I can get most of it, but not the second word. It is on Beulah baptist chapel in Newbridge, Mon.
I have :
Beulah
xxxxx a Baptist
Built 1809
Extended 1818
and 1828
Renovated 1884

Thank you,
Rob

Addoldy  place of worship
Welsh Baptists worshiped in chapels not churches
therefore I would translate it as Beulah, Baptist Chapel
