Hi ugo,
This is the link for all cemeteries in Glamorgan. Maesteg would come under Bridgend I think...

Hello ugo :)
As you know the date of death and address, you could try to get hold of a newspaper obituary. Maesteg library have a newspaper archive and may be able to provide a copy for a small fee.
I recently found an obituary for my Great Grandmother which confirmed my suspicions about her burial place, so it is worth a shot.
Best Wishes
Morgan

Thank you Morgan and Romilly for your help.
I wish I could pop in to Maesteg Library that would solve a few questions I have, I live in in Essex its a long way.
Kind regards Joan

Best option for Maesteg newspapers is reference Library in Y Llynfi (Maesteg)
Y Llynfi
Maesteg Sports Centre
Old Forge Site

Tel: (01656) 754859
Fax: (01656) 815055

They have microfilm copies of newspapers such as Glamorgan Advertiser (where I have found a number of Maesteg obits)
Other good option is
Local and Family History Centre

I believe they have microfilm copies of Glamorgan Gazette which may also cover Maesteg
