Have you checked the 1901 and 1911 Irish censuses which are free at
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search
-
Hello Carole yes the cencus there is where I got the names from just can not find any more info.
Thankyou
-
I presume this is your Hamilton family in 1911 ?
Robinson household - Farlough townland, Co. Tyrone (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Tyrone/Tullyniskane/Farlough/866490/)
All born Co. Tyrone, and Hamilton and Elizabeth Jane married 30 years, so around 1881. According to the 1911 census they had 5 children, but only 3 are still alive - all at home on the 1911 return.
If you dont have Elizabeth Jane's maiden name maybe a birth for one of the children would be the place to start...

Likely marriage for Hamilton - correct timeframe, and the same district as Farlough townland :
Name: Hamilton Robinson
Registration district: Cookstown
Event type: Marriage
Quarter and year: Jan-Mar 1881
Volume: 1 / Page : 543
will check for an Elizabeth with the same references on the BMD Index..

there's an Eliza Jane Rodgers with the same references - so a likely bride for Hamilton.
A cert would give you bit more detail, such as their father's names, residences for the bride and groom etc.
see : Ordering Certs from GRO Roscommon (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,599538.0.html)
Details included on a Marriage Cert (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,433042.0.html)
for references this seems to be the same family in 1901 :
Robinson household - Derrywinnan Glebe townland (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tyrone/Tullyniskane/Derrywinnan_Glebe/1737534/)

Hello everyone, I am Kenneth Hamilton Robinson and I have been wanting to track my other relatives from the marriage of Hamilton Robinson to Elizabeth Jane. I am one of the great descendants of Hamilton Robinson, their child. Please reach out to me and communicate with me and I can fill in on some information about what happened generationally from Hamilton Robinson to present day.

Thank you so much for all the helpful information... Two questions.
How would I find death certificates easily for both Hamilton and Elizabeth Jane Robinson?
How would I find the gravestones for the Robinson family members in Tyrone? Is there a cemetery map or gravestone archive you'd recommend?
Thanks,
Ken Robinson

How would I find death certificates easily for both Hamilton and Elizabeth Jane Robinson?
Using https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp, they're both alive up to the end of 1921.
Then use https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/ (GRONI Online), to check for death records from 1922 onwards. You can register on GRONI (free) then purchase a few credits to do full searches, view certificates, etc. It costs £2.50 (sterling) to view a certificate.
