Post by: patrish on Friday 03 June 05 18:46 BST (UK)
I am looking for ANNIE MARIA SEABROOK born  26.6.1843 LUTON, or any other children of GEORGE SEABROOK AND MARIA they married 28.6.1837. Most grateful for any help.

Hi Patrish,

I think this is her in 1861:

RG9/330
Folio 29 p. 52
Southwark St George the Martyr

Maria  Seabrook, visitor, unm, 17 (something I can't read) Bonnet Maker, b. Bedfordshire Lutton

Unfortunately, the enumerator doesn't seem to have separated the households clearly. I think the person she was visiting was:

John Smith, unm, 27, Porter, b. Staffs Rickmansworth

Unless they made a mistake by putting him down as a 'head' instead of 'serv', in which case she would have been visiting a
Richard Token (?), 28, Bricklayer, b. and wife.

Tanja  :)

Hi Patrish,
This looks like them in  1871. The other girls must have married, there is no sign of Edwin so assume he died. Regards Jan ;)
