Title: Marriage Look up in Glamorgan Parish Records

I am looking for marriage of George Phillips a Channel Pilot to Elizabeth Connel or Oconnell or variations
George was from Montenegro
I am trying to find out the name of Elizabeth' s father as there are two possible's as far as I can see

Her first son was George abt1887 Cardiff, so marriage was before this time
It is thought it might be ST David RC Church was were they married
Hope you can help
Or does anyone know whether Church of Latter day Saints hold these records

Have you checked freebmd to establish the year and quarter in which it took place and also the registration district to help narrow any search of parish records?

There is a possible one in 1885    www.freebmd.org.uk

Sorry Yes I have just looked It must be 1885 June I was hoping that I wouldnt have to pay for cert by looking at parish records .
There is aChurch of Latter Day Saints family centre just up road from me I was wondering if anyone knew whether they hold Glamorgan Parish Records
I want to see who her father is as there are a few possiblities Robert Patrick and now John by seems of it

The indexes for St David's RC church marriage registers up to around 1912 are held at Glamorgan Archives. These list father's names.

I'm hoping to go to the archives soon (unlikely to be this week) and will look up the index for you if you've not found the info by then.

Best to check out the website (www.glamro.gov.uk) as you have to register when you go there first and need ID..
