No surname for Sarah on the online record but you could order the film (go to familysearch.org and you will get the details) and it may have further details.

There appears to be at least 3 other children baptised to this couple
Mary 1809. John 1816, Maria 1818.

I couldn't see anything relevant on Lancs OPC.

Hi again David, would I be correct in stating that Sarah Coe b c 1833 married a James Chappel, if so in 1891 the family were in Blackpool, Lancs (Fylde registration district) if so their is this death:-

Sarah Chappell Sept qtr 1895 Fylde 8e 529 aged 62

The 1891 I showed would appear to be your Hannah as in 1881 Ottiwell W aged 30 b Glossop Annie E 27 b Manchester and Hannah aged 69 along with James Chappell 53 Son in Law
at 1, Currier Lane, Ashton under Lyne Census Ref RG11/4036/84/14

Hi again David, ok now located family in 1841 in Glossop Derbyshire Census Ref HO107/185/ 8/4 / 2
The occupation of James is a Hatter

1861 Hannah 49 Married b Ashton under Lyne
James 20 b Ashton under Lyne
Ettewell W 13 b Derbyshire
Annie E 7 b Hulme
Mary Ellithrine 7months Visitor b Hulme (possibly surname Ellithorne)
Residing at 2, Queens Street, Stretford
Census Ref RG09/2866/29/7

1871 Census

Hannah Coe 59 Widow b Ashton under Lyne
Ottiwell 21 b Manchester
Annie 17 b Manchester
Residing at Bardsley Green, Ashton under Lyne
Census Ref RG10/4068/129/37

Working on the assumption that the Coe family were in Manchester by 1851 (Possibly the 1851 is one of the "Water damaged" returns that are the bane of Manchester researchers, then their is this possible death:-

John William Coe Sept 1849 Manchester v20 page 814

Hi

Rather than carrier, it might be Currier

CURRIER: A man who dresses and colours leather after it is tanned.

they were living on Currier lane which is still there today.

Hi David

I have just found your thread and I was wondering if you are still researching this family. I am married to Vanessa Coe who fits into this family as
James & Hannah 1805         Great great grandfather
John William & Eliza 1835     Great grandfather
Frederick Paul & Mabel 1890  Grandfather
Stuart Paul & Joan  1921      Father
Not sure which link you were following, I only started in Dec 2015 but so far I have history links to
these families being involved in:
Krishnanagar, India
Calcutta, India
Victoria, Australia
Durban, South Africa
Poland PoW camp
Ashton under Lyne, Cheshire
Kent, UK

Currently I'm struggling with Jame's father in the late 1700, did you go down that route in your search ?

Thanks for any help
David

Yes still looking but very difficult line found a fair bit on the Williamson and other names that come into that line will have to look through and post as for the coe line its been quite hard to find them was suggested that they may of been from 3 diffrent backgrounds one being jewish two being french or dutch and the thurd one being romany yet to find that prove
