GenUKI reports:
Parish Register;
Baptisms 1712-46, 1813-1993. Marriages 1712-46, 1812-1970[Banns 1823-93]. Burials 1712-46, 1813-1992 NLW with copies of some dates at Ceridigion RO
PR CMB 1748-1812 recorded in 1933 seemingly lost

Also available on FreeReg - presumably without the missing 1748-1812 data?

Maybe Dyfed FHS has MI's?

Hi, mirsuperstar,

My Aunt and her parents are buried in the cemetery at St. Michael's. It is in a wonderful tranquil setting.

All I can suggest is you make contact with the Priest in Charge at the Vicarage next door. Full address is Ystrad Vicarage, Felinfach, Lampeter, SA48 8AE. Hope this helps.

Who are you interested in?

Regards, David

Hi David,
Thank you for your post, it was most kind of you. I was on holiday when you posted the response.
I will be going to Ystrad Aeron in the near future, to find my family's roots.

Regards and thanks again

Mike

Thank you !

I don't have any knowledge other than what I provided above about our Evans when in Felinfach.  We pick up once in the US.

Hi Todd,

I can't really help a great deal at present. I can't even find a birth for Charles Evan Evans for 1842.

I can only direct you to Priest in Charge (details as before in this thread) or maybe Ceredigion Archives at Aberystwyth.

Regards, David

The challenges !!

The 1842 birth may not be an actual Welsh birth since it most likely was recorded when the ship landed in Canada.

Our records show birth locations for both Canada and Wales - without any primary or secondary documentation supporting either other than his gravestone

Hi Todd

I asked the moderators if they could split your post from this one.  It would probably be best if we carried on the topic on your post  so we don't duplicate information and are able to get all your answers together.  This is the link to your post.  Hope you don't mind.  :-\
