Early-mid 1870s, but I can't find the photographer. Possibly Henry B.

Cheers,
China

Sure :)

The style of the backdrop, which is a blank wall with a curtain to one side, is really an 1860s look which started to go out of fashion in the early 70s. Also the ties with the broad flat knot, and the wide deep lapels on the jackets...the horrible ratty flooring visible in the foreground...and I suspect the guy on the left has just a glimpse of a posing stand next to his foot which was used to keep the head still for the shot and pretty well disappeared by the mid 1870s. And very important, the square corners of the rigid cardstock, which also disappeared by about 1875 as corners became rounded to be more easily slipped into photo album slots.

And the the back, an 1870s design.

If you post the other photos we'll do our best to give a date. You did this absolutely right, showing all the dating clues we need to see :)

Cheers,
China
