Hi
My friend has just started looking into her family who were living in Tredegar in the 1800, 1900's she is visiting there in a few weeks time, can anyone please tell me where the parish records are kept so she can make contact to visit the establishment to enquire if she needs to book an appointment to view their records.
She would like to find the Baps, Marriages and Burial's for her family, any help I can pass on would be very helpful
Many thanks

You can also look at www.tredegar.co.uk genealogy page. Lots of queries and info there.

A few words of advice. For any births/baptisms, marriages and deaths/burials found in Tredegar in the 1800/1900's the correct geographical area at the time of these events is Tredegrar, Monmouthshire, England. Monmouthshire went back to Wales 1974/5.
