It has been a long time since I started my family history and after a long break, I'm very rusty!
Could anyone please advise me where I could start looking please. I am looking for a possible death by car accident that happened in Dublin City in the late 1970's. I am told the accident took place close to Trinity College - on the dame street towards the Olympia Theatre.
Any guidance greatly appreciated. Thank you.

These are the two main online resources for digitised Irish newspapers - both cost money unfortunately:
http://www.irishnewsarchive.com
http://www.irishtimes.com/search
British Newspaper Archive has some Irish newspapers too but that is mostly pre-1900.

Thank you very much for those links Chris, I'll have to make sure I have a long free slot before I subsribe to make sure I can make best use of the subscription :)
I am wondering which one would be best for me to subscribe to first?
Thanks again.

I have found Irish News Archive very effective for finding obituaries for my tree. I haven't tried Irish Times but I would assume there is more chance of finding something on Irish News Archive as it covers multiple papers, and I think it's cheaper. Try doing some searches before you buy, you can't see the full article but it will show you a little snippet which might help the decision.
Thanks
