Hoping someone can do a lookup at Lambeth Cemetery
James Gibb
Grave #933 I.3.
DOD January 16, 1931
and
David Gibb
Grave #619 D.1. "Border"
DOD December 4, 1937
Would appreciate a copy of inscription on both graves if possible. A photo would be bonus.
Willing to pay expenses.
Thank you

Hi Wendy
Have you established with the cemetery office that headstones are in place?

No I have not. I will contact and then update if a headstone is there.
Thank you

Thanks, it might prevent a wasted journey.

I paid a brief flying visit on Saturday whilst in the area for a meeting. There are two sections I3. The one nearest the gate ends at around 450, so I assume 998 is the other one at the far side which I didn't have time to reach. There is only one section D1, but the highest number I found there was also around 450, though there are lots of unmarked graves and unnumbered or difficult-to-read gravestones. I'll try to get back there in a few weeks time and with more time to search. If anyone can get there earlier, PM me and I'll supply some clues.
The time wasn't wasted as I did find a request from another site.

Thank you so much for trying Chris. It's much appreciated. I have not heard back from Lambeth yet to determine if a headstone exists. I will let you know if I do find out.
Again, thank you for your efforts.

Just heard back from Lambeth Cemetery. Unfortunately, there are no graves stones for either graves.
Please disregard my request to look for them. Again, thank you Chris for giving it a thought.
