Hello, could someone please be able to do a burial lookup for a William Nye who was buried the 16 May 1845 in Brighton, Sussex Have just found burial records on findmypast saying dedication at St. Nicholas/Hanover Chapel, Sussex, Denomination was Anglican. Have gone onto their site, however, it shows those buried in the Presbyterian Section only and he is not mentioned. Would like to know what the inscription is please. Thank you. Lesley

I know there are records of inscriptions from stones that were moved some years ago from around St Nicholas etc, but I don't know if they are publicly available. If I find out anything I will post here again.

Here is a site that appears to have the records I was mentioning. There is no NYE in the index on any of the three lists, so that seems to mean either there was no stone or inscription, or it had become illegible by the 1940s (the salty sea air and all that)
