Hi I'm looking for any info on the the showell family my 3x grt grandmother was Christian showell born Stratford Essex Abt 1826 all I know is she married James Clark middleditch and her father names is James I have no other info than that on her or her family any help gratefully appreciated

Christian Showell was born on 21.05.1824, to James and Christian Showell. Mother's father was Hugh Davis. The family were non-conformists.
She was baptised comewhere in London (C of E) on 23.07.1828
She married James Clark Middleditch in Islington in Q2 1852, he was born abt 1829 in Bromley, Kent

According to the 1871 census they were living in Ellingham, Norfolk and had a child Emma who was 16 years old born in Bow, Middlesex; they were living at the railway station where James was the station master.
In the 1881 census they are living at Pulham St Mary The Virgin, James still a station master, visitin them was a 3 year old William Weston from Stowmarket, Suffolk.
Christian is not mentioned

James died 09.02.1882 and left £139 5s in his will
