Title: Barber baptisms in West Ham All Saints in 1905
Post by: Helen Bedford on Thursday 10 July 14 17:46 BST (UK)
Hi
I was hoping that someone with access to the baptisms for West Ham All Saints in 1903 to 1906, would be able to confirm whether or not there are Barber baptisms there as I don't have access.
I am looking for children of Charles and Sarah, hoping that Florence in 1903 and Henry Charles in 1905 (both June quarter) would be theirs.
Helen

Hi
I was also hoping that somebody might be able to confirm if Charles Barber married Sarah Springett in West Ham All Saints in 1901 (Dec quarter).

The info was on a tree ion ancestry but it may have been wrong, freebmd shows a marriage in Dec quarter of 1901 it has four names including Charles Barber and Sarah Jane Springette ref 4a 248.

It certainly seems that others have reached the same conclusions as me, just would be nice if the parish entries could be found! :D

Didn't find Florence at all saints or st Thomas in west ham. However, west ham covered a large district, so it could be a neighbouring parish.

Nor a wedding. What're their addresses on 1901 census?

I do realise it's a bit of a long shot but sometimes they pay off.
The reason I asked was because in 1901 they both lived in the parish of West Ham, Charles Barber at 41 Hotham Street and Sarah Springett at 109 Livingstone Road. However, by 1911 they were living at 51 Skiers Street, Stratford East, so perhaps they had their children baptised there?

Many thanks Jolee, the owner of that web tree had gone after the wrong marriage, just as I had been tempted to! Just goes to show that you need facts! :D
