Title: Age of children
Post by: anthonygos on Saturday 16 August 14 13:38 BST (UK)
Can anyone age the children, because they age's don't seem to tie up with the birth's, a date for the photo would also be nice.

Rough guess for ages of children (l to r) 2, 7 or 8 months, and 4.
Photo taken 1910ish.
Others are probably better qualified to give opinions on both.

PS. Just to let you and others know that I tried to view the image on my ipad but was unable to, got an error message and appeared to freeze my ipad. Solved by clearing history, cookies and data. Perhaps my settings or perhaps a compatibility issue with photobucket?  :-\

I see Iria and I are thinking along the same lines with ages of children.  :)

Link is working fine with me, but if anyone is having a problem with it just say and I'll look into it, now what seems to be odd with the photo and the date's of birth are, the boy Joseph was born 1909 he seems to be around five, now Maud girl (standing) was born 1910 a year between her and Joseph but looks much younger, and the girl on lap last but one girl in the family was born 1914, so photo should be around 1915.

Yes, 1915 seems reasonable date wise.

Do you know if the husband/father was in WW1? I am wondering if this might have been a photo of the family taken as a keepsake?

Photo is of my grandmother before my mother was born in 1921, husband (grandfather) died in 1946 aged 61 so may have gone to war, but I have no record of him doing so. but that's a good point to make.
