Hi Ree

Have you checked the US Census for 1930 and 1940?  This will give you a fair bit about this family in terms of ages, occupations and birthplaces. If you don't have access to these Census I am happy to transcribe what I can find for you.

Cheers

It's a long story..but The Patrick Slowey I am looking for in Detroit is my grandfather's father he married Ellen Prunty from Wishaw Scotland they had a son Francis and emigrated to Michigan Detroit around the 1920's.
Francis would have been my grandfather's half brother.

Several online family trees show that Francis SLOWEY died 6th Oct 1964.  No details regarding his marriage are shown.

We have had multiple previous threads on this family.  Most recently -  http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=700802.msg5438481#msg5438481

Please try to lead with the information that you already have, or better yet, keep all information about the same people in one thread rather than starting a new one.  If people repeat the research that has already been done, it wastes their time and yours.

It's okay Ree, partly my fault for not checking for previous threads on this family, I should know better myself.

Remember too that sometimes we can't find answers to questions as the information is not in the public domain and therefore those questions may have to remain unanswered.

Is there anything specific that you wanted to know about Francis that we might be able to hunt down for you?

Cheers

Hi Karenlee
I have been looking back some old posts and I have found that my grandfather Patrick Slowey's
Mother Rose Ann McCue went on to marry a Francis Daly after her husband died. Then the family started to emigrate To the usa
