Dear All
On FamilySearch there is a record of a Jathro WATERMAN marrying an Elizabeth Price at St Giles Oxford on March 1 1746. I wonder if anyone with access to the original registers (or perhaps the OFHS transcriptions) could check this for me. In particular the name Jathro WATERMAN and which parishes they are from. I suspect (hope?) that the marriage was between Jethro ACREMAN (or AKERMAN) and Elizabeth PRICE. Jethro was baptism in Oct 1720 at Islip. An Elizabeth Price was baptised Eynsham on 12 Feb 1726. Jethro ACREMAN with wife Elizabeth had a number of children baptised in Eynsham from 1748 onwards.
Thanks
Mark

Dear Kim
Thanks for this. If you have time to look it up, did they sign and were there any witnesses mentioned in the transcript. The Acreman/Akerman family have connections in Combe and Hanborough which are both close to Wotton.
