Looks like a Rolls Royce (flying angel)

It's not a Rolls Royce radiator.

PP Registration Numbers were issued in Buckinghamshire, 1923-1928.

Thanks guys - the emblem looks like a "dog-bone" radiator cap and there were loads of variations. The tip on the PP reg is a good help as my family were always keen on new cars even back then so that gives me a bracket to work with
As I thought that car had some detail Ive had 2nd thoughts and added the picture with all 3 cars hopefully one may have better definition - the middle one looks to have a tent for a roof :D

The rightmost car has a BD plate - Northamptonshire, December 1903 - September 1924.

Is it this model A ford?

The middle one looks like a Morris Oxford "Bullnose" - various versions produced from 1913-1926.

Some similarities, I agree, but on the Ford the chrome round the top of the radiator grille seems to have a more pronounced dip in the middle (for want of a better word); also the oval badge looks a bit more prominent. You might be right, however - the picture in question is much lower definition and contrasty (not the poster's fault), and that means some details get lost.

Might be worth checking if the kithead trust has the records for the car you have the full registration for

Thanks for all the replies ... just piecing it all together now

Presumably this photo is early 1920's. My father had a 1938 Vauxhall 14 BPP 82. Registration district was Slough. Other common one in area was *KX Beaconsfield. both south Bucks.

Hi,
Just came across your photo and can advise that two of the cars are American and the centre one British. Cars are, left to right, 1926 Overland, 1924 Morris, 1925 Dodge. I hope you don’t mind me using your photo on our car identification Help Pages http://www.svvs.org/help88.shtml .
Kind Regards
Vintman

1 and 3 have sidelights on the wheel arches.

Thanks all, my father in law (84 now) concurs with the Bullnose but unsure on the other 2
@Vintman no issues with sharing and when I get to the bottom of it will update this thread
As ever thanks to all the Rootschatters !!!
