Hi, trying to trace the family of my maternal granddmother, Grace Louisa Weaver/Louisa Grace Weaver.
I know she was was married to a William Charles Spencer and they had 4 girls, one being my mother, they got married in Southampton September 1920, 6 months after my mother's birth, she is a Weaver the other 3 are Spencers.
My grandmother remarried but cannot find record of divorce or 2 marriage.
My mother was born in London and birth registered in Hackney, birth took place in a hospice for unmarried mothers and my grandfather spent some time in Winchester Prison, crime unknown.
Grandfather died in Southampton about 1985.
Any help in moving this search forward would be greatly appreciated.

That is Patrick John (or John) Morton married Grace L Morton or Spencer
