I am trying to trace the Morrison family history and know my great Grandfather Charles Morrison lived in Bonnytown in the late 1800's. My grandfather, William Glendee Morrison was educated at Madras College, St Andrews and then went to Canada early 1900 and then to Australia about 1920. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has any more information and more accurate dates. Thanks.

Hello and welcome :).
Are you able to give us any more information about William? Do you know when he was born? Did he marry in Canada? Do you have a name for a possible spouse? Where he might have been living in Canada? Any other info?
William Morrison is a relatively common name in Canada during the period you are looking for so we really need a bit more info to try and find the correct one.

The source of this information may be the British Guiana Colonists Index . The online trees give William's parents as Charles Alexander Morrison and 1. Catherine Eliza Hohenkerk and 2. Geraldine Helena Agard. Some details of the marriages can be found on the index , together with a birth record for Glender , sometime William, born 24 Nov 1879 Ptn, Affiance. Here's a link to the site :

Something a little odd here. rosieb2 says William Glendee/Glender Morrison went to Australia in about 1920. Ancestry trees have his death in 1959 in South Australia. I thought this must just be a case of lots of people replicating an error but there is a record of William Glendee Morrison's death in South Australia in 1959 shown here :
https://www.genealogysa.org.au/index.php?option=com_search&Itemid=32
Perhaps it's another family member with the same name ?

The next grave 853 K is for a Lillian Vesta Morrison. Age 60 years when she passed away 13/1/1956
http://mountgambier.dcw.lga.sa.gov.au/page.aspx?u=3321&c=39286
Lillian Harvey was the name given on the anc tree - if the couple did marry in Saskatchewan in 1911, Lillian would only have been 15 years old ???
A Donald Glendee Morrison is also buried at the same cemetery and a Donald is listed on the anc tree (Registration Year - 1916 - 1925)
However, the name of Donald Glendee Morrison is coupled with Beatrice Margaret Morrison and it seems she was the 4 year old daughter (passed away aged 4 years old in 1914) of Edward Ellis Morrison
