Hi -please can I ask for help from Norfolk specialists (again)?
I'd be very grateful for any information about Sarah Colding, who married a Samuel Smith in Norwich St Augistine in 1819. I can't find a baptismal record for her, although there do seem to be Coldings in
Norwich at about this time.
Thank you

Hi Maggott
Cannot find a baptism for Sarah Colding, do you think that she could possibly be the
Sarah Golding baptised at Heigham 30 Oct 1787 to James Golding and Sarah (late Lubbock)

It looks like Samuel and Sarah tried to have the Banns read in December 1818, St Augustine but the Banns were forbidden, no reason given though.

Hi Yokel & sgf
Thank you both for your replies. Mystery about the banns but I'll certainly get on the Golding trail. I'd wondered Golding rather than Colding until I found Coldings in Norwich. However the the the other Colding children were all baptised so why not Sarah? Makes the Heigham connection certainly one to investigate. I've been after Samuel's wife for almost 15years...
