Title: Morgans of Duntocher
Post by: vhmdale on Sunday 13 March 16 13:46 GMT (UK)
Hi there, I'm looking to connect with other descendants of Bernard Morgan and Isabella McKenzie, my great, great grandparents, who were married in 1866 in Hardgate. One of their children was John Liddell Morgan, my great grandfather who was mortally injured in the Clydebank Blitz.

HI vhmdale

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

There are some family trees on Ancestry for this line. I think they connect to John's brother Hugh born c. 1879. You need a subscription to view Ancestry's family trees and connect with the tree owners there though...

Not totally on topic but just thought I'd mention that today is the 75th Anniversary of the Clydebank Blitz.

Thanks Monica and Isobel. I'm on Ancestry and have not really researched the sisters and brothers in the branches of the family tree but have just started to do this - so thanks for the tip Monica. Yes, tonight and tomorrow night mark 75 years since the Blitz Isobel - very sad, and terrible that it's happening around the world still :'(
