Hi folks,
Have a Joseph MAZORKOFF (sometimes spelt "ZA", "ZE" or "SA", "SE") b. 1867 Russia d. 1934 Liverpool, England and Rachel CUTNER b. 1870 Russia/Poland d. 1945 Liverpool, England. Never found out how they came from Russia to England, but found a marriage record from Ontario which might be them and that eventually they came to England. Cannot see the record as it is on Ancestry Worldwide.
I am assuming the marriage took place before 1894 as their fourth child was born in 1894 Glasgow, Scotland.
Greatly appreciate your assistance

1911 census may provide more exact places of births but we aren't allowed to do lookups for that one. We are also not allowed to ask for lookups from subscription sites like Ancestry when it is against their terms and conditions. Your local library may provide access to sites like Ancestry and Find My Past.

aghadowey,
Thank you for all the info. The marriage relates to the son. Strange a record should show Ontario Marriage for his father and mother. I do have all other info on the children where and when born and when married.
Thank you for putting me right about requests from paying sites, sorry.
Appreciate you time and help, thank you very much.

Why is it "Strange a record should show Ontario Marriage for his father and mother."? Both parents are listed in Ontario marriage certificates.

Hi,
Thought it strange because the Anc...... hint gave the marriage under "hints" for Joseph Mazorkoff 1867-1934 and naturally thought it meant his marriage as it stated "Joseph Mazorkoff and Rachel Cutner" only.

Not sure how old this thread is, but I am very interested in any more information or results. Joseph Mazerkoff was my great-great grandfather and Samuel was my great grandfather!

jamarzipan,
Presume we are talking about Samuel Mazorkoff (1894-1957) who married Gertrude Mendelsohn (1897-1954) and his father Joseph Mazorkoff (1867-1934) married to Rachel Cutner (1870-1945).
I have just updated some info and in the process of rewriting my 7 pages. Started with Joseph and Rachel and their 15 children. Generation for generation. It is not complete, but there is a lot of details.
If you send me a "PM" with your e-mail address I will send you the 7 pages.
