I have a man , I won`t post his name on here, but will do so in a Pm if it helps.
I`ve copied much from his Army records, but there are some pages I can`t make out.
It would be great if you could give some details of what it was all about. I have had a "google" but still not sure of the full story.

Thanks.

In short he was part of the International Force set up to assist the Russians in their war against the Bolshevics.
It all fizzled out amidst a lot of recrimination in mid 1919.
-
In addition he joined at Prestonpans not Prees Heath.
He went into Reserve & wasn't called up until 1918 when he was posted to Prees Heath which was a training camp & military hospital.
-
thanks, that`s a start.

What else do you want to know ?

I`m guessing from your reply that it was this incident.
I`ve been trying to find SS Telemon but with no luck so far. I presume it was a troop / supply / carrier ship ?

Could it be S. S. Telamon, see link here, http://www.historicalrfa.org/requisitioned-auxiliaries/177-requisitioned-auxiliaries-t/1860-requisitioned-auxiliary-telamon
It was requisitioned by the Admiralty in 1918
