Can you give us a clue as to what kind of information you are looking for? :-\ Sorry but your post is a little vague.
He is in the Workhouse with his mother Ann, aged 30 - Horse keeper's widow, born Shouldham, and his younger brother, John, aged 6 born Sheffield.
-
Sorry Bumble, looking for his parents.

Having a real problem finding her in 1871 but found this one.
Ann Smith. Her son James born the same place as James Death.
Piece: 4678
Folio: 145
Page Number: 25
Had a look for a birth for John Death Sheffield. Found John born 1874 MMN Tuffs. So go back and look for a birth for James Tuffs and there was one born 1868 Downham Union MMN Tuffs. Can not find a marriage for Ann Tuffs to a William Smith or William Death. Good Luck :)

Thankyou Sue for your help and patience, lets give up on this one thankyou. Margaret.

And Ann in 1871 is born in the same place as Ann Death in 1881 ;)
I'm intrigued by your knowing James' date of birth, it must have come from somewhere.

I assume you have seen James' Army Service records in which, in 1887, he gives his next of kin as mother = Ann and brother = John, both in Huntingdon.
-
The image of the baptism which Annette found.
-
I'm intrigued when you say 'lets give up on this one'?
Clearly, from baptism, this is the same man although birthdate is one 1 year out.
