William Samuel Whybrow, Private, 13585 1st Bn Bedfordshire Regiment, died 7th Feb 1919.
Would appreciate if you can tell me where William Samuel died. He is commemorated at Leighton Linslade Cemetery, Bedfordshire, not sure if he is buried there.

There is a grave reference on the CWGC site and if you click on the other items it shows that he died of pneumonia.

It states he is buried in Plot E Grave 8 of Leighton-Linslade (Leighton Buzzard) Cemetery his grave is a Stone Cross & Kerb (not a war grave) Son of Joseph & Millicent Jane Whybrow, 36 East Street, Leighton Buzzard.

He died of pneumonia (per CWGC) in Nottingham ( per the Register of Soldiers' Effects).
All the army records appear to have his name as just Samuel Whybrow.

As the CWGC has him at Leighton Linslade then that is where he is buried, which implies that he died in the UK.
His death seems to have been registered in the Nottingham Reg Dist - though as Samuel aged 26, so not a perfect match. The death certificate will show where he died.

You don't need Adobe to access the web site or to open the register under the heading on the page CWGC Archive on-line. The Adobe banner is for if you want a commemorative certificate.
