Hi,
Has anyone traced the history of Stan Laurel beyond his mother Margaret Metcalfe b 19/3/1884 Askrigg and his grandfather George Metcalfe , a shoe maker. Like many others I have Metcalfe ancestors from that area.

Think that date is Margaret's marriage to Arthur Jefferson.
