Charles Edward MERCIER born 1840 Old Windsor, Berkshire, England, is said to have died in Antigua in 1894. He was in HM Customs there. A number of his younger children were also born there.
No luck so far in finding any records online, or indexes.
Anyone able to help.
Thanks.

Hi Eyesee,
He died at St John Antigua on 22 July 1895, reported in the publication
"The Colonies and India from London", August 10, 1895 , Page 13
https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/35676502/
('Find' 'Mercier' on the page and scroll down to the OCR text
Seems his post was Auditor-General of the Leeward Islands, but he was often seconded into holding posts in Antigua.
His address there may have been Nevis Street.

He died before a serious outbreak of Yellow Fever tore through Antigua later in 1895, around October.
