Title: 1901 Rugeley Census
Post by: Tickettyboo on Monday 26 June 17 21:02 BST (UK)
 RG13/ Piece 2659/ Folio  8/ Page 8

I have a Margaret F Magill on the above census who seems to be a Superintendent in some sort of home.
If anyone can decipher the name of the home and/or point me in the right direction to find out more about it, I'd be grateful

Thanks

Boo

There are newspaper articles that describe it as The Levett Convalescent Home, Rugeley.

The Levett family, who lived in Milford Hall established the Rugeley Home and Cottage Hospital on Church Street in 1866. The Levett Home was on Church Street in 1901.

Yes, now that I have been told what it says, and looked again I can see it says Levett Home.

<I have squinted at a LOT of old images in the last week and the eyes are failing>
