Title: DALE GROCERY SHOP KELSALL c1910
Post by: potty5 on Tuesday 01 August 17 19:15 BST (UK)
Dear forum members I am after any information about the Dales Grocery Store in Kelsall which was next door to the Dales drug store. The shop existed certainly c1910 and the grocery manager was Walter Dale who lost his life in the Great War. Any info on the shop would be much appreciated. Mark.

There is no mention of Dale in the 1914 Kelly's Directory of Cheshire.

Have you seen this?  It is part of a larger article in the Nantwich Guardian related to Walter and Frank and their deaths in 1917.

According to the summary book for the 1911 census - Dale Bros. occupied "house and shop" in Church Street, Kelsall.
