Title: The Rock, Rickeston
Post by: yogievans on Tuesday 02 January 18 12:40 GMT (UK)
Hi,

My g.g. grandfather has a listed birthplace in one census as 'Rock'. I have just found a place called 'The Rock' on an old OS map. Does anyone know what it was - a farm?
Happy New Year

Ian

It was a small stone cottage. The walls of it are still standing.I believe it was lived in until the 1950s. Someone I spoke to in Herbrandston said they lived there as a child
