Sorry it's taken a time to reply, Nancy How, I have since found out is mother to a daughter who is also named Nancy and it's the daughter who is my grandmother's mother...does that make sense.
You have confirmed what I have recently discovered and I am so greatfull.
You might be interested in the reason for my late reply, I have always been interested in our canal system and so decided to volunteer at the Canal & River Trust maybe my history is the reason for my interest in the canals

About 15 years ago i was on a historic narrowboat @ Leighton Buzzard when an elderly lady in her 70's stopped on the path to look at the boat i got talking to her & told her i was from the Harrison boat family & she knew some of my people .she came back later that day with some family photos to show me & allowed me to take photos of her photos we made plans to meet at the Braunston historic boat show but she never showed i later learned that she had sadly gone to the great cut in the sky .I still have the copies of these photos if you send me a pm with your e/mail add i will forward you them
