Can my cousin Sam have a clean-up please & if possible can his hair be improved.
Thanks
Keith
-
My try.
Peter
-
I've done a couple.

and warmer tone
I think there's a stand behind him too :)
-
I get the impression that there is a musical element to this one...there looks to be the top half of a music stand on the chair, unless I'm misinterpreting it and it's something else. He could be holding a grading certificate.
Carol
-
Looks like it, Carol. I wonder what grade :)
another of those sharpened while scanning ones, Keith. You can tell by the white lines around the edges :-X
-
Both are excellent Peter - I particularly like the sepia tone version - thanks for improving his hair as well
Keith
-
Thank you Gadget - both are great - a vast improvement on what I had - Sam played the piano
Lovely work

Sam's side of the family were all musical as opposed to my side who were/are all tone deaf ;D

Tis not your fault - blame it on the scanner - human or mechanical ;D

I've got a few more - is that ok?

You're ever so lucky. Most of us have just a few old ones. I think the bulk of mine are post 1900 :'(

The bizarre thing is that I have very few of my parents/grandparents as my brother threw out our 2 family albums after my dad died >:(
Apart from a few, all the ones I have posted here have come from cousins who I have made contact with as a result of my family research - I just keep squeezing them for more ;D
Keith
-
A soft one for the pile ;D
Carol
-
The other one with more contrast.
Carol
-
2 more super versions to add to the pile ;D Thank you Carol for these, they are great additions to the album.
Can't make up my mind if Sam is wearing breeches or just has his trousers tucked into his socks :-\
Keith
-
Looks more like trousers tucked in socks to me.
Carol
-
Two more to add to your collection. First one a clean up.
Pat
-
Now one with some added colour
Pat
-
A colour version from me too finally ;D
Carol
-
and a warmer version with added texture.
Carol
-
Thank you Pat - the cleaned-up one is great & I realise it wasn't the best of images so I'm thrilled with the colour version - a lovely surprise.
Thanks again
Keith
-
2 lovely colour versions Carol - I can always see more detail when the image has colour - do I see a disguised posing stand behind Sam :-\
I will need to buy a new album to keep all these great images ;D
Thankyou
Keith
-
Glad you are pleased with them. Yes you can...Gadget mentioned it earlier. Are you dragging these off the street :P ;D ;D ;D He looks a proper little toff doesn't he.

;D ;D not quite.....every time I contact a new cousin I say send me photos! photos! photos! Sam reminds me of Little Lord Fauntleroy.
This will be my last post for a while so you can breathe a sigh of relief ;)

I think I saw him in Eldon Square earlier, Carol ;D
Lovely colourings.
I though of doing him as the blue boy but decided to go shopping instead!

Oh I'm pleased that I won't miss out because I have my Daughter and my two gorgeous Grandaughters arriving tonight ;D
