Morning, I am trying to trace the birth certificate of a Lilli Campbell. I have her marriage certificate and 1991 Census, doing the sums make her born 1884 in Jarrow, her father Thomas Campbell born in Scotland. I am unable to find any details of her birth, her mother is Margaret, not sure of sirname as unable to find marrage details.

The 1901 census say she was born in Newcastle, now living in Jarrow. She married a Frederick Jackson in 1905. Mary

In that case a free search on the 1911 census index finds her as Lillian Jackson.
The free search on Genes Reunited shows her birthplace as Jarrow :-\

Have you tried searching www.gro.gov.uk ..the birth I posted might be worth while looking at ..Don't see any other for a lillian Campbell in Jarrow ???..Not seeing a marriage so far for a Thomas Campbell to a Margaret Smith ?

I think she can be identified in the 1939 register with husband and son - this will give you her exact date of birth.

There appears to be a death in 1884 for the Lily Campbell born in Lanchester in 1883.
Another to consider is Lily Campbell b Jan - Mar 1884 Sunderland mmn Aitken.

Just about to say the same thing :)
To summarise - she married Frederick J Jackson in 1905.
They can be found together in 1911 and the free index gives her name as Lillian.
She can be found as Lillian on the 1939 which also reveals her year of birth (you can find this on a free search if you don't have access) :)
