This is a photo of my sister Kathleen taken early 1939. Its not the best of photos I know but its the only one I have and not in the best of condition. She has lovely blue eyes .I don't like the little jacket she is wearing, maybe some patient person could tidy it up a little for me, that's if you can do anything with the photo at all. I would like it restored to put in my family tree album. Katy was born in 1948 Wednesfield, Staffordshire, England.

My effort, :)

A lovely effort ,thank you Yvonne. It wasn't a very good photo to restore. My mothers fault, she had a big wide roll of Sellotape and she stuck all the photos she had into an old post card album with the sellotape. If nothing else they survived .
-
A colourised one from me. I'd hoped that the colour might distract from the imperfections ;).
Your sister's face came out very mottled so I've blurred it more than usually do.
Jacket colours are optional BTW.

Thank you Mike, all the mottled bits are where the sticky glue remained from the Sellotape. I am afraid my Mom wasn't very good with photos, I think the only reason some of them survived at all was because they were stuck firmly down with the tape. Thank goodness the glue deteriorated as the years passed on or we would never have been able to remove the photo's . Thanks' again ,it is certainly better than the original. I am so glad my mom eventually ran out of Sellotape, or found a better way to use it LOL. God bless her.

My offering. Hope you like it. Removed the greenish hue, but put it back once I was done in case you wanted a similar look.

A bit slow with my try, but I don't think you have a plain black&white one yet, so here's one to add to the collection.

Very nice,Thank you McGroger.
It would be nice if someone could tidy up her scruffy little Cardy, make her look like someone owns her.

Two more goes.

Gorgeous saddles. Love that little face, got her blue eyes a treat. Thank you.
I must say I have fiddled around with the cardie myself trying to close those gaps around the button holes,I am afraid I am a pretty poor artist. Thanks for all your hard work. Sylvia

Thank you Sylvia for your kind comments.
I noted you wanted the jacket button holes straightened, you will note
I have done that for you.
