Hi,
I am trying to find Samuel Kingwell bc1894 Plymouth,Devon. His mother was Jessie Kingwell and father Frederick, a fisherman.
On the 1901 Census he is called ‘Sampson’, on the 1911 ,Samuel. No other siblings. I cannot find a birth registration for him ,a marriage or death. I just cannot trace him after 1911.
I have an Ancestry membership, but can’t find him. Maybe I just can’t see for looking or have missed something. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

So are the parents Frederick Kingwell and Jessie Sherriff, married Dec qtr 1884 Plymouth?
-
No children with them in 1891 and he is their only one in 1901.
Perhaps he was (informally) adopted? If so, BMD events may have been in his birth surname.
