Hello,
Charles DIVALL, the son of David DIVALL, a Plumber, and his wife Elizabeth, was christened on 23/08/1835 and had two brothers, George (born 1827), David (1839) and a sister, Mary (1832).
He was released on licence from Parkhurst Prison on 22/09/1854 and from that date onwards he appears to vanish. Can anyone help with information from that date please?
Thank you,
BAC3

Sep 1854 Duval St Pancras
Jun 1860 Duvall Holborn
Mar 1864 Duvall Lambeth

Unfortunately, the ages shown on GRO don't match (1854 death age 43, 1860 not found, 1864 age 62)
The closest I could find on GRO was:
Death Dec qtr 1859 Greenwich vol DUFFELL Charles age 26
but I'm not convinced that this is a possible.
It occurs to me that Charles might have changed his name (or emigrated). Do you know his mother's maiden name?

Good Afternoon All,
Thank you for your responses.........in some ways they are gratifying in not being able to find him and, consequently, prove my research skills are not waning ::) Sadly, his mother's maiden name has not been discovered.
There are a lot of DIVALLs to say the least
For the moment,
