I would be very grateful if someone could give me the details for this lady in the 1841 and 1851 census. She is the informant on the death certificate of Edward Gallon, innkeeper and I wonder why. I expected it to be his wife Lucy.

1851 has her age 51 bn Eastergate, Sussex wife of George.

What was the maiden name of Edward's wife Lucy?
From GRO indexes Caroline's 1843 birth entry mmn FROST
and this appears to be their marriage
1819 Madehurst, Sussex
George Row to Elizabeth Frost

Thank you very much. Edward's wife was Lucy Lickfold. Maybe Elizabeth Rowe was simply doing a good turn for a neighbour? Lucy must have been running the inn and looking after 4 children under the age of 13 as well as dealing with her husband's death.
