I am trying to find where relatives of mine round have been buried in these areas. The burials are recorded in the Ripon cathedral records on FindMyPast but they aren't buried on the cathedral's grounds. Most of the family's burials state they lived in Bondgate at their time of death. The approx. Date I'm looking for is the early/mid-1800s and are (among others) Kirby and Parkinson relatives.
Does anyone know of a likely churchyard/Cemetery they'd be in, please?

Not quite sure why you believe that your relatives were not buried at Ripon Cathedral, even though they appear in the burials register - I'm assuming here that you are talking about the Bondgate address :-\
Boroughbridge and Aldborough, I would expect to be buried in either location, although Boroughbridge burial records only appear to commence in 1852, Aldborough from 1560.

They are in the records on FindMyPast but when I went to a list of names buried in the grounds (an index) and no Kirby's appear there and the lady said that, as most of them were labourers and common people, it'd be very unlikely that they're buried in the Cathedral.

Just been looking at some of the history - the church, St Peter and St Wilfred, only became a Cathedral in 1836 - not sure how that date fits in with your ancestors. There are over 44,000 burials recorded since 1573, and I'm not sure how that number relates to the index you have seen - could the index be those graves having a headstone :-\

Just to clarify - I have telephoned North Yorkshire Records Office, and they assure me that the reference PR/R1 1/40 refers to the burial records for Ripon Cathedral (even though it wasn't designated as a Cathedral until 1836). :-\

I don't think the list of names I saw are just headstones as there were many names but only a small portion of headstones still standing. I'm surprised that there's that many burials there as it's not the biggest of grounds around it.

Maybe you need to get back to the people at the cathedral and find out exactly what their list is, and why they think it's more accurate than the registers/BTs that can be seen at FindMyPast (which as we've established, do record the burial of Mark Kirby in 1826).
From what you've said here and in the other thread, I get the impression that they might have misled you.

Just an update
I went to Aldborough and Roecliffe churches this weekend and none of the people I'm trying to find the burial of are in either of them.
