Hi, I am fairly new to this and trying to find out about Cyril Dennis Harding. I know he was 4 years old in 1911 and lived at 12 college avenue Fishponds Bristol. Trying to trace his dob, whether he married, had children and when he died (doubtful he is still alive).

Are you saying you have viewed his 1911 census entry, so you are not looking for information about his parents?

His first wife Phyllis remarried to Joseph B Shreeves in Chesterfield in 1954.
She died in Chesterfield 12 Dec 1988 as Phyllis Blanche Bancroft Shreeves.

Thanks very much for this information. His sister Clarice was my grandmother, whom I had a great relationship with. She never spoke of any other family, hence me trying to find out a bit about her brother.
I had previously found that she had a brother from some research I did on this site about 5 years ago. I also know details of her parents from the 1911 census (again from this site).
So Cyril had a son who sadly died at age 6 and I wonder if there were any other children.

Did his parents move around or did they stay in the Bristol area?
There is this death for William:-

Thanks very much. I think they stayed in Bristol and the age ties in for Bessie dying in 1925.
My only avenue left to explore for me now is whether Cyril had any further children with either his first wife Phyllis or his second wife Cecilia Frances Harding? Any comments or help in resolving this would be brilliant.

Only the one child from his first marriage, none from his second.

I wondered if any record of any children born to his sister (Clarice Gertrude Harding), other than
Paul Harding born 20th Jan 1947.

If she did have any other children either before or after Paul, where are the most likely places?

Bristol or Devon (Exeter area).

For Devon Central it is just Paul between 1929 and 1960
For Bristol there are 17 Harding/Harding births registered between 1929 and 1960.
Without any first name(s) it would be impossible to know if any of these births related to Clarice.

I cannot be of much help to you regarding Cyril Dennis Harding, but I can tell you that the Cecilia Francisca Mahoney referred to in the above posts who was married to Cyril Harding was my Grandfather's sister. Even though we do not have much information on her, I will still message you through your profile. I hope your searching is successful. :)
