Hang in there - I have found your family.
This took forever without his birth year which I eventually found just before you posted it.

Hi, It is most important that you post all information from any known census records. This family was mistranscribed in 1871 and almost impossible to find on your original information.
Here goes.......
1871
No address recorded. Living Eglwysilan Glamorgan
Daniel Llewellyn 1831 Llanwonno, Glamorgan, Wales Head Wood Cutter
Ann 1831 Merthyr-Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales Wife
Daniel 1869 Merthyr-Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales Son
Evan 1858 Merthyr-Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales Son Wood Cutter
Jemina 1856 Merthyr-Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales Daughter
Mary Ann 1867 Merthyr-Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales Daughter
William 1860 Merthyr-Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales Son
Transcribed on the Index as Llewsllin
This census entry is very difficult to read so I would take Daniel's birthplace with a pinch of salt!!!!

Thank you Tricia for the information. I would never have thought of looking for a LLEWELLYN spelt the way you discovered it LLewsllin. So now I have 4 different places of birth and at least 2 different spellings of his surname. No wonder I cannot find his marriage to a Ann Davies about I believe 1855 in the Merthyr Tydfil area. Would like to thank everyone who e-mailed me information , it is very much appreciated.

Hi,
Have just replied to your message.
Just to emphasize what I said - birth year and birthplace if known are vital - then you can do a search on first name ,age and birth area and hopefully that will bring him up somewhere with the name spelt incorrectly. Too long winded to try and guess how they spelt his name.
Hope this makes sense,
Have fun, Tricia
