I am looking for a marriage before 1889 between Robert Bean and an Eliza Dawson.
I have my relation Tom Bean's Marriage certificate which states his father is Robert.
Tom's birth was registered June qtr 1889 Hull 9d 261 mmn Dawson(GRO)
I found Tom with his parents and brothers in 1891 RG12/3930 F112 P10.
In 1901 with his mother and stepfather and brother RG13/2359 F192 P33.
1911 I have found.
When Robert died or was divorced (I now think he died in 1939)Tom's mother Eliza married Alfred H J Foxley between 1891 and 1901 although I couldn't find their marriage.
There is a marriage Alfred H Foxley to Eliza Hardy ??? Dec qtr 1892 Bedminster which I think is them because they remained in Gloucestershire in all the census's after and both died there.

Tom's brothers Edward and Fred also have mmn Dawson
The older brother James born 1887 James Dawson mmn Dawson in 1891 James Bean.
I suppose Eliza Dawson must have married a Watson before she married Robert Bean but I couldn't find it.
Eliza was born in Leven according to the census's round about 1862.

I now think this Eliza Dawson(born in Leven) birth reg. Sept qtr 1862 Beverly. I will try and find her in 1871 - 1881 tomorrow.
Married a William Hardy March 1883 Beverley 9d 153.
Then lived with Robert Bean and had 4 sons. Then she Eliza Hardy left Robert and married Alfred H Foxley Dec qtr 1892 Bedminster.

I now need to know what happened to William Hardy. When did he die between 1883 & 1892.
Where was William in 1881 census before he married Eliza Dawson. The problem is I don't know his age.
Eliza had a son James in 1887 and registered him James Dawson. I wonder why he wasn't Hardy.
Then in 1891 census he took the name of James Bean because Eliza was with Robert Bean pretending to be married and their other sons.
