Title: Thornton le clay, middle cottage search
Post by: mojo_jojo on Thursday 06 June 19 15:47 BST (UK)
Hi there,
Not sure if this is the correct board.
My grandma Kathleen Scott b16.6.1942 was born at acombe maternity hospital in york and lived in Middle cottage, thornton le clay. We are planning day trip to york to visit some old places and trying to find the place she lived as a baby.

Does anyone know how I can find where the middle cottage would be so we can go visit? Not sure if it would still be standing?

Thankyou

Jo

Thornton le Clay is in Ryedale District Council.  It might be an idea to contact them to see if they can offer a direction.
